Author note

Maggi has worked with teens and tweens in many settings. While her three children struggled to survive their chaotic upbringing, she held three Scottish Arts Council Fellowships, had several poetry collections published and won the Scotland on Sunday/Women 2000 Writing Prize. In 2007 the SAC awarded her a major bursary for children's writing. She's now having fun writing books about Sassy Wilde and promoting them through schools events.
