In 2004 Jeremy Deller was awarded the Turner Prize for his multimedia installation Memory Bucket. His The Battle of Orgreave (2001) focuses on a moment of the international trade union movement, inviting us to a subtly differentiated examination of history. Deller uses the term 'social surrealism' to describe his work
