Quick paced, pitched just right for young adults; will make you think before you speak & challenge your own ideas.

A Lancashire Book of the Year shortlisted title exploring feminism and friendship through the eyes of a 17 year old girl. Even as a mature female this book made me reflect on how women are treated in the 21st century. An inspiring and original book for women (and men!) of all ages.

and thought provoking read

I enjoyed this book because even though I did get frustrated with the main character from time to time, it made me realise just how hard it is to stand up for your rights . This is especially true for women and girls. I have to give it to Lottie though she was a true star and demonstrated the power of voice and friendships. Excellent Holly Bourne another winner and what an advocate you are for young people .
