There were so many layers in this book to be able to do it justice in such a short review. Three different generations of women with their own secrets who become reengaged with each other through the novel. It was beautifully written and gave just the right amount of space to explore each of the characters. Kate is a young woman exploring her own sexuality, her mother Caroline protective but smothering and Mary who is Caroline's mother is suffering from Alzheimers. Excellent
