Biography: Ruth Ozanne, born in 1888, was the daughter of Edward Chepmell Ozanne, (Bailiff of Guernsey 1915-22). She kept a diary from the age of thirteen until the end of the Second World War. She died in 1970. Her diary covering the years of the German Occupation of Guernsey has been edited by William Parker, the son of her cousin Major John Parker MBE.
