Synopsis: Considers how visualisation-based approaches used in the arts and humanities could contribute to better prevention and control of healthcare associated infections (HAIs). Explores and maps areas of perceived need and opportunities for research in this field, and provides insights into ongoing and new research studies. Highlights the potential value for practice developers, researchers, educators and policy makers of cross-disciplinary research focusing on the use of visualisation to help prevent HAIs and antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
