All you need is your library card number and your PIN. If you aren’t already a member of Dudley Libraries you can become a member of Dudley Libraries by visiting your local library or join online.
Getting started with the eBooks app
You will need: A valid Dudley library card and your 4-digit PIN.
You are allowed: Five eBooks or audiobooks at a time – for a period of 7, 14 or 21 days (choose from the drop down menu).
You can read/listen to books online or via an app on your tablet/smartphone/ereader (some Ereaders will require Adobe digital editions software)
Steps to follow:
Download the free Libby app or Overdrive app from the App store or Play store (see comparison of apps below and choose the right one for you).
Add your library search for 'Dudley' (Better Libraries Digital Consortium).
Enter library card number and PIN

Libby vs Overdrive
Libby is for you if you like things to be a simple, quick one-tap read with minimum fuss. However, it only works on devices with Android OS 4.4 or newer or iOS 9 or newer.
Over Drive is the tried and tested app for the tech-savvy with more user options.
