MARIA CHATZICHRISTODOULOU (aka Maria X) is Director of Postgraduate Studies, Lecturer in Theatre and Performance in the School of Arts & New Media, University of Hull, UK, curator, performer, and co-editor of the volume Interfaces of Performance (Ashgate, 2009). Maria has taught at Goldsmiths, Birkbeck, Queen Mary, and Richmond University (UK); co-founded/co-directed the festival and symposium Intimacy: Across Visceral and Digital Performance (UK), international festival Medi@terra, and Fournos Centre for Digital Culture (Greece); and performed with Diplous Eros ensemble (Greece). She holds a PhD in Art and Computational Technologies (Goldsmiths University of London). RACHEL ZERIHAN is a Lecturer in Theatre and Performance at the University of Sheffield, UK. She has taught at Queen Mary University of London, Laban Trinity and Brunel. Rachel co-directed the live and digital art programme Intimacy: Across Visceral and Digital Performance (2007). She was commissioned to prepare a Study Room Guide on One to One Performance for the Live Art Development Agency (2008) and co-edited a collection of works examining the use of technologies in contemporary performance - Interfaces of Performance (Ashgate, 2009). Her PhD examined Catharsis in Works of Contemporary Female Performance and was awarded by Roehampton University in 2008.
