Matthew Johnstone is the author of bestselling books Alphabet of the Human Heart, I Had a Black Dog and Living with a Black Dog , also published by Robinson. He is also an artist, writer and exhibited photographer. New Zealand-born, he's worked in advertising in Sydney, San Francisco and New York. He now lives in Sydney with his wife and two daughters.
