[manuscript] has 46 miniature paintings - 20 within the borders of the Kalendar illustrating the duties of the months, 13 full-page size, illustrating the nativity and life of Christ, etc., and 13 smaller, of the Saints, the Virgin, etc, occuring at their respective services. The Kalendar is in red and blue, with many of the Feasts and Saints' days in solid burnished gold. Throughout the volume each page is enriched with a floral border of elegant design and marvellous execution in colours and gold'.

The volume is enriched floral borders on every page, and the capital letters are executed in colours and burnished gold, small 4to, old crimson morocco extra ... the leaves of the calendar for February and March are wanting, and the border of one of the large miniatures has been somewhat cut ...'.
