Libraries Update:

We have been working hard to re-open our Libraries safely. The following Libraries are now open with limited access to services.

Owton Manor Library within Community Hub South is open for Book browsing, returns and click and collect reservations.
Opening Times
Monday 12pm - 3pm
Tuesday 10am - 3pm
Wednesday 10am - 3pm
Thursday 10am - 3pm
Friday 10am - 3pm
Saturday 10am - 12noon

Seaton Carew Library is open for Book browsing, returns and click and collect reservations.
Opening Times
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10am - 3pm
Saturday 10am - 12noon

Central Library within Community Hub Central is open for Book Returns and Click and Collect book borrowing only.
Opening Times
Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm

Books can be reserved through the online catalogue selecting the collection site as Central Library, emailing or telephoning 01429 272631.
If you require your borrower Pin to place requests online please email with your borrower number and name and address.

Please note that there have been changes made to the buildings to ensure that you are safe when you visit. Please follow all signage throughout the building. There is a limit on the number of visitors allowed into the buildings at one time, therefore you may have to queue on arrival.

The People's Network

There are currently two People's Network computers available in Community Hub South and Seaton Carew Library.

Click and Collect

We are also running a click and collect service from Community Hub South & Seaton Carew Library. If you are interested, please order your favourite books through our Online Catalogue selecting the collection location as Owton Manor or Seaton Carew, email or telephone 01429 272631. Once your requested books are available we will contact you to arrange a time for collection.

For books for the Under 5s please email the Children's Team for a pack of specially selected picture books.
