Author note

Linda Morris is a passionate baker who lives in London near the borough of Islington, where 16-year-old Ben Kinsella was knifed to death in 2008.

Having been involved in charity work in the borough, Linda was moved by the work of the Kinsella family who set up The Ben Kinsella Trust to highlight the dangers of knife crime.

As the mother of a professional chef (Linda's son son Ed Shaerf  is Chef Patron at London's One Blenheim Terrace) Linda had the idea to raise the funds for The Ben KinsellaTrust after she started a Cake Club with her friends.
